Project Management Development International (PMDI) is a wholly owned, Australian organisation providing excellence in online project management education to the Australian and Pacific regions.

We think Project Management is a very tough job. Project managers across Australia and the world, are working very long hours in challenging environments to deliver projects which increase or enhance the capacity of their communities, organisations or businesses.

A lot of these Project managers, however evolved into Project management simply because in the first instance they were very good at getting things done!

Over time however this lack of knowledge in the structure and processes required by this demanding field begins to constrain them as they increasingly take on more complex and even greater numbers of projects, often simultaneously.

At PMDI, we believe that there are too many barriers for Project Managers in trying to change this situation. Already “time poor”; even simply looking for and finding the correct information is often difficult.

How do I complete a Project management qualification? Where do I go? Who or what are the AIPM or PMI and can they be of any assistance to me? Where can I learn more about what is going on in the world of Project Management?

PMDI’s vision is therefore to support these busy Project managers by:

• Helping them understand and implement best practice methodology and achieve Project Management qualifications through the provision of high quality online learning.
• Connecting them into the profession of Project Management by the provision of regular industry updates, webinars with industry experts, articles and other information through a supportive project management website and information network.
